My kids love the show Mythbusters on The Discovery Channel. Have to admit, that I like it a lot, also.
I came across this video of the two Mythbusters stars visually describing (at a conference) the difference between how a regular CPU works and a parallel processor commonly found on a video card (a GPU, or Graphics Processing Unit). In total MythBusters fashion. Very cool.
You have to watch it to the end, especially the last couple of seconds in super-slo-mo. No looking ahead, though; you don't want to ruin the surprise.
